Sisters at Disney World

    Sofia from SC Asked

Good afternoon! I remember having the option of staying in the lane for an attraction and my husband would receive a FP to switch later with me. We will be travelling again with two kids and they cant go in some attractions. What is the option for us?

    Welcome to planDisney, Sofia!

I have two little ones myself so I am more than happy to give you all the ins and outs of the Rider Switch Service

Now, Rider Switch is a pretty simple concept. Before you enter the queue of an attraction, notify the Cast Member that you will be needing to set up a Rider Switch. They will ask you who in your part is riding first and who is riding second, and scan your Magic Bands or admission cards.

Then you (and one of your little ones, if they are tall enough) can enter the regular queue. When you exit the ride, the other member of your party can return through the FastPass+ line and skip all that waiting. My son absolutely loves rider switch because he can actually ride twice, spending some quality time with mom and dad while we take turns taking his little sister on a different attraction

I hope that this answered your question, Sofia. Please come back here if you have any questions about traveling with your little ones.

Enjoy your time in the magic.
