Good afternoon,I was interested in purchasing a disney world season pass and wanted to know does it expire a year from date of purchase or a year from date of first use?

    Hi Samantha!

Welcome back! We love to help Guests plan their Walt Disney World vacations and hope you will come back again and again if we can do anything to assist with your planning.

My husband and I have been Annual Passholders for many years now and if visiting Walt Disney World for a whole year isn't enough, we also LOVE having so many amazing perks that come along with it! It's definitely a win-win all the way around. To answer your question, the clock starts ticking on an Annual Pass as soon as you activate it. That must be done in person so folks like you and I who have to travel to get to Orlando would simply activate your pass when you come into town and will be using it for the first time. By the way, there is a special offer happening right now that gives you 13 months for the price of 12 when purchasing an Annual Pass before January 2, 2017. You might want to take a look at that option online. See what I mean? SO many perks!

Here's wishing you a year sprinkled with Pixie Dust as an Annual Passholder.

    Have a magical day!
