Good afternoon, some years ago there was a DCA tour which included a walk-through of the Carthay Circle lounge. I know the tour is no longer offered, but I wondered if there is a way to tour Carthay Circle restaurant and lounge without dining there. Thanks

Hi Marilyn! Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by to send us another question!

I love the magical history that comes with visiting the Disneyland Resort! It sounds like you appreciate it too! Making an Advanced Dining Reservation at Carthay Circle Restaurant will be your best chance to see all the beautiful details inside this Golden-Era dining location while enjoying a delicious meal. If you're sure you don't want to dine there, you could stop by and ask a Cast Member if you could take a look. I can't promise you this would be an option or something a Cast Member would be available for. Another option would be to make a reservation for the Carthay Circle Lounge. This is a great spot to take a midday break and enjoy some sips and bites. It would also allow you to see some of the decor design found upstairs in the restaurant.

As you stroll down Main Street, U.S.A. at Disneyland Park, be sure to look up at the windows. At the Disneyland Fire Department, you will notice a light on at all times. It stays lit in honor of Walt Disney and is located where the family lived while Disneyland was built. There are other windows on the Main Street buildings with names on them in tribute to special individuals with contributions to Disneyland. I hope you enjoy looking at these details!

If you have more planning questions before you arrive, please stop by planDisney again. We're all ears, and we would love to help!

    Wishing you magic,
    Lisa
