Good afternoon! I am trying to link my friends and family to my Disneyland account so I can make reservations for all in the party. I don't see a section on Friends and Family like Disney World has. Can can someone help me with this please? Thank you!!

    Hello there, Ginger!

Welcome to planDisney and thanks for coming to us with your question. It sounds like you're already a pro at navigating around the Walt Disney World website and My Disney Experience App. Things are just slightly different over here at the Disneyland Resort. I think it's like getting a right-sided Autopia vehicle; you know where everything should be but just have to look a little harder to find it!

As you've noted, there is no "Friends and Family" section on the Disneyland website or app. You will instead need to navigate to the Disneyland website, pull down the menu under "My Disneyland" and select "Link Tickets." You may also do this via the Disneyland Mobile App, which might be easier since you can use your phone's camera to scan bar codes. Once everyone's ticket is linked, you should be able to make reservations for your entire party. It'll also be more convenient to be together on one device when you book virtual queues and Lightning Lane reservations.

For dining reservations, you simply need to state how many are in your party so there is no need for everyone to be linked. You may then share the reservation details with others in your group by having them pull down "My Disneyland", selecting "My Plans (Hotel, Dining and Activities)" and clicking the "Add More Plans" button.

It's an exciting year to visit the Disneyland Resort because the Disney100 Celebration is in full swing! I absolutely loved Wondrous Journeys from my vantage point in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. Take a moment to enjoy all the various foods they've introduced as well. My favorites are the Lemon Tea Cake and the Potato & Cheddar Cheeseburger.

I hope you found this answer useful, Ginger, and that you and your group has a fantastic time at the Happiest Place on Earth! Please feel free to come by and visit us again anytime!

Fun Fact: There's a crocodile on the Jungle Cruise also named Ginger. Careful though, Ginger snaps! She's one tough cookie. I know, it's a "crumby" joke, but I milk it for all I can.

    Have a Magical Day!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
