Hi there Caroline!
Thanks for sending your question to
planDisney. You must be so excited about your summer holiday at the
Most Magical Place on Earth! I'd be delighted to make your trip even more delicious by helping you add a
dining plan to your stay. Let's dig in!
If you cannot modify your current vacation package online, you must
call Walt Disney World to add a dining plan to your reservation. Remember, a dining plan must be part of a vacation package that bundles your
theme park tickets and resort stay. You are not able to add a dining plan to a room-only reservation.
I hope everything works out for you, Caroline! The best part of vacationing with a dining plan is covering nearly all your meal expenses before you arrive. As your adventure approaches, consider where you want to dine and start making reservations as early as 60 days ahead of your check-in. Are you looking for recommendations? My family frequently travels in August, and we like to sit for a late afternoon table-service lunch or dinner to escape the warmest (and sometimes stormiest) part of the day. A few of our favorite theme park restaurants for taking an afternoon break are:
Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen in
Magic Kingdom Park,
Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria in
EPCOT,
Yak & Yeti™ Restaurant in
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant in
Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Best wishes for a memorable holiday! Please write to us again if there's anything else we at planDisney can help with before you leave for your enchanting escape. Thanks again for stopping by, and have a magical day!
Betsy
