Greetings Linda and welcome back to planDisney!
I am so excited to be able to chat with a longtime friend of
planDisney! Thank you so much for trusting us with your Disney vacation planning questions for over ten years! You’ve been counting on planDisney almost as long as
Disney Springs has been named Disney Springs! Some of us old timers do remember the old Downtown Disney days!
Linda, to answer your question, there is not an official list of stores and restaurants at Disney Springs that accept Disney Gift Cards, but a majority of the stores do accept them. I would recommend if you were concerned about a particular store that is not owned by Disney that you check with them before you make your purchase.
I use Disney Gift Cards on all of our family trips! I will be on the lookout for Gift Card sales throughout the year and grab any deals that I see! My first stop after I purchase a few cards is to go to the website
disneygiftcard.com. I will combine any electronic cards or smaller physical cards onto one or two physical cards that I will take with me on our trips. You can load up to $1,000 on a single card on the website. I also use a sharpie to name the cards that I have in my wallet, so they match up with the ones I named on the website. I’ll name them after my favorite Disney friends, so Dopey and Winnie the Pooh always seem to pop up on the back of my gift cards!
Linda, it looks like you are going to be arriving at my favorite place close to my wedding anniversary! Make sure you take a spin on
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT on September 21 so they can play our anniversary song from Earth, Wind & Fire! After you take a spin with the Guardians, make sure you enjoy a Mickey Bar or two!
