Hey there, Alysa! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your question about the nighttime spectaculars.
Oh boy! I just love hearing that you are planning a large group trip for your grandmother's birthday! What a special memory for everyone! First of all, I am so glad to see the date when you are planning your trip. We just recently heard that Main Street Electrical Parade will end its limited-time run at Disneyland Resort on September 1, 2022, the Disneyland Forever fireworks show will also say goodbye that night. You will make it just in time for one of the last performances!
Those using wheelchairs should be able to access all regular areas for viewing parades or fireworks. These areas are first come, first serve. I have seen from time to time that there may be specific areas for wheelchairs, but I am not certain if there are any for these shows. My favorite area to see parades and fireworks is actually over by
"it's a small world". This is especially helpful too if you have little ones. This area seems to be less crowded and gives everyone a little more room to get their wiggles out while you wait for the performances. Do you know who else has really great tips a lot of times? Cast Members! I would definitely chat with Cast Members throughout the day who might be able to give you their best tips and you could always stop by
City Hall to ask Guest Relations if there were specific areas for wheelchairs.
Another option would be to look into a dining package for reserved viewing for Main Street Electrical Parade. There is a dining package at
Plaza Inn for lunch for this. There are also dining packages available for Fantasmic! and World of Color.
Alysa, thanks again for letting us be a part of your planning! Please stop by again with any other questions! See you real soon!
