Good Afternoon! I am planning on arriving later in the day on Halloween, our kid will miss the opportunity to trick or treat. Other then MNSSHP is there any other events that happen on Halloween, like at Disney Springs, we are staying at All Star Movies.

    Hi Elizabeth,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Even though you all may miss Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, there are a few other opportunities for fall fun. Check out the Disney Parks Blog information on 'Return to Sleepy Hollow' at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground Begins September 28. The galloping ghosts and Headless Horseman would put you right in the midst of the Halloween fun. Shows are at 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

Halloween at Disney Springs might also be a possibility depending on the time of your arrival. Check out the DJ Dance Party and Face Painting by Enjoy Your Face. While at Disney Springs, I would also suggest stopping by the PhotoPass Service Studio to take a few pictures, especially if you are dressed in your costumed best! Just remember that activities are subject to change so check activity schedules when you arrive!

Elizabeth, last year when I visited during October, our resorts were decorated as well. Several of my fellow moms just shared their favorite reasons for visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in the fall - Moms Panel Monday: Fall Fun at Walt Disney World Resort. It truly is a great time of year to visit!

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
    Donyell
