    Good afternoon, I plan on celebrating my daughter's 4th birthday at Disney World and this doubles as our first visit to the theme park! Any suggestions for restaurants or areas that provide an extra service for birthday celebrations?

    Hi, Larredrea! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    How exciting to be celebrating your little one’s 4th birthday at Walt Disney World Resort! Be sure to contact Disney Reservations to let them know that you are celebrating and they will put a note on your file and you may receive a special birthday button upon check-in at your Disney Resort hotel! If you don’t receive one, you can always ask at check-in or at any Guest Services location. When checking-in to the selected Disney restaurant, feel free to remind the Cast Member that you are celebrating! Although I have a long list of suggestions for you, I have limited space, so please come back! Character Dining Experiences are always a great option! How better to celebrate a birthday than with Cinderella herself? Cinderella’s Royal Table, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, as well as 1900 Park Fare are some of my favorite places to meet princesses! On occasion, Cast Members will surprise you at the end of your meal with a special treat or even a song! You also have the option of ordering a special birthday cake for your daughter which can be delivered to select restaurants when ordered a minimum of 72 hours ahead of time.

    Don’t forget about the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique where your daughter can receive a princess makeover!
