Good Afternoon, We have in the past stayed at Pop and loved it but this time are looking to stay at Art of Animation with extended family. Can you tell me how close in location the mermaid rooms are to the family suites? (1 group has children) Thanks!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Nicola!

I’m thrilled to learn you are planning a stay at my family’s favorite resort, Disney’s Art of Animation! I’ll never forget seeing my entire family light up walking up to this bright and fun resort. Especially my husband, who is a huge fan of animation. The attention to detail at this resort is unparrallelled, and kids of all ages will fall in love with the larger-than-life characters welcoming you throughout.

Nicola, the Little Mermaid rooms are closest to the Lion King Suites and also a short walking distance to the Finding Nemo suites. Depending on where your rooms end up assigned, I’d guesstimate no longer than a 3-5-minute walk between the buildings. And the walk is so fun and picturesque you’ll barely notice the time passing by! Using this link, you can see the map of the resort, so you can get a better idea of the layout and location of the buildings.

I hope you enjoy staying at this whimsical and immersive resort. Be sure to take in all the fun details throughout the resort. There are even some surprises you can hear underwater. And don’t leave your room without a camera. There are photo-ops everywhere you turn!

I hope this information was helpful! Be sure to stop by again soon for any additional planning tips or questions you might have.

    See ya real soon!
