Good afternoon. We are a family of 4 (us, 9 y/o daughter son under 3) going to Disney for the 1st time for 4 days/nights, spending 2 days in the parks. Staying off site, our hotel has a breakfast and kitchen in room and we are driving. is 15-1700 enough?

    Hi, Sarah!

The good news is that you've already taken care of the most difficult part of your trip...planning where to stay!

Regarding your budget, I don't see if you've already purchased your tickets, so I will assume that you have not.Currently, 3 Magic Your Way Tickets will cost $516 (kids under 3 do not need a ticket to enter Walt Disney World Parks.) This leaves about $1100, if you've brought the larger amount you mention. I did not add the Park Hopper Option, as you'll only have two days to enjoy the parks; you might want to pick two, save money and not waste time Park Hopping either.

For your food budget, determine which parks you'd like to see, then take a look at Dining in those parks. For example, Dining at Magic Kingdom will give you the opportunity to enjoy a luxurious Table-Service meal at Cinderella's Royal Table and spend quite a bit more than you would if you dine at Tony's Town Square Restaurant. Some menus on Disney's website will include exact pricing, such as this menu for Tony's Town Square Restaurant, while others, such as Cinderella's Royal Table is specific to the season and / or holiday. Call (407) WDW-DINE to find out the specific cost of any restaurant with price range, rather than actual menu item pricing.

You can also find unofficial menu pricing on allears.net; look that over to determine what your food costs may be for 2 days. Also, don't forget to bring your own water bottles into the parks, and refill throughout the day. We also bring small snacks to hold everyone over between meals, saving money and time as well.

Have a wonderful trip! Send more questions as you think of them, Sarah. We love to help!
