Good afternoon, We're coming to WDW this December. We often eat at Coral Reef to watch the fish while we dine. What are our options for watching animals (Animal Kingdom) while we dine and which would you recommend (6 adults and 1 three year old). Jim

Jambo, Jim! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Let's head over to the savanna and plan an amazing dining experience for your family!

I'm going to throw you a bit of a curve ball here, because the absolute best place to see animals while enjoying a fabulous meal isn't in Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. It's over at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, the Resort hotel right next door. That's where you'll find Sanaa, a hidden gem featuring a blend of African- and Indian-inspired food and decor, and giant picture windows looking over a savanna that is home to giraffes, zebras and other incredible animals.

Sanaa serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, with adventurous choices for adults and a kids' menu that will make your young diner happy as well. Be sure to order the bread service - it's one of Sanaa's signature offerings, and my favorite part of any meal here.

But the star of this show is the animals! The dining room offers incredible views, some of them very close up. After you've eaten, visit the lobby concierge desk for a wildlife guide, then explore the Resort hotel for even more glimpses of the animals.

Jim, you can easily take a bus from Disney's Animal Kingdom Park to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. Sanaa is located in the Resort's Kidani Village, one of only two stops your bus will make. It's definitely worth the short trip, and you can always head back to the Theme Park afterward.

I hope this helps you plan a magical experience for your family, Jim, and please come visit us again if you have any more questions.

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
