Hi Amanda!
Welcome to planDisney. Thank you for sending us your awesome question about using the
Disney Park Pass system in conjunction with a Walt Disney World Resort theme park ticket with Park Hopper option. You are doing an incredible job planning your upcoming vacation, Amanda! I am so glad to learn you already know about the Disney Park Pass system.
Amanda, at the present time, you do not choose which theme park you want to Park Hop to in advance of your vacation. You only need a theme park reservation for the first theme park you wish to visit.
On the day you wish to Park Hop, you can check the
My Disney Experience mobile app for Park Hopper hours. In the event that that the Park Hopper option is unavailable at a theme park, you will be notified in real-time via a push notification from the My Disney Experience mobile app. In my experience, I have never experienced a theme park being unavailable for Park Hopping, but I assume it can happen during really busy days.
I encourage you to download the My Disney Experience mobile app in advance of your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth. It’s great for receiving on-the-go alerts, making Disney Park Pass theme park reservations, and
modifying advance dining reservations. I also use it to navigate the parks with its park maps/GPS capabilities.
Another simple way of checking both theme park capacity updates and Park Hopper availability is by dialing (407) 560-5000. This telephone line features an automated message with park capacity and Park Hopper availability information. Don’t forget to add it to your contact list, Amanda!
