Candace from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Good afternoon. I booked reservations for the World of Color Dessert party for a day in May however I need to change my date for a week later. Do I need to refund it first or can an agent just transfer the dates? Thank you for your help.

    Hi there, Candace!

Welcome to planDisney, we're so happy to have you here! The new nighttime spectaculars for the Disney100 Celebration are truly incredible, they're the perfect way to end a magical day in the parks.

The World of Color Dessert Party is the absolute BEST way to view World of Color - ONE and I know you are going to love it! I love that booking the dessert party means I don't have to worry about joining the Virtual Queue or hustling to get a good spot to watch the show. The dessert party tickets are refundable up to 1 day before your event, so I recommend canceling your existing reservation (your refund should go back to the credit card you used to make the purchase automatically, but it can take a day or two) and then making a new one for the right dates as soon as possible! This is a popular event and it can sell out, so all reservations are subject to availability.

Have you attended the dessert party before? If not, you should know that you'll need to check in at the Eureka water wheel near the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. All the tables have a great view, so you don't need to worry about being first in line. But I will point out that you are seated in order of arrival, so if you want more time to enjoy your treats before the show starts then being there a little earlier is a good idea. My personal preference is for the taller tables, I think they have the best view! You can request to be seated at a taller table when you check in with the host.

My favorite accessory for the nighttime spectaculars is a MagicBand+ so you can be part of the show! If your party is using them at the resort (they're really helpful, especially for kids who don't have mobile devices) you'll see that your bands sparkle in time with the music. So much fun!

Have an amazing time at the parks, Candace! I hope that you'll love the show!

    Keep moving forward!
