    Good afternoon, how can I add a dinning plan as a DVC member?

    Welcome home, and welcome to planDisney!

    Thank you for visiting us with your question about your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort. I love getting to chat with fellow Disney Vacation Club Members and helping them make the most of their membership. My family and I have been enjoying the flexibility of our membership for several years. We just wish we had joined sooner!

    It sounds like you'll be celebrating Christmas in your Disney Vacation Club Villa this year, which is so exciting! My favourite resort to visit during the festive season is Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. There’s something so special about seeing the huge Christmas tree in the majestic lobby. Talking of Wilderness Lodge, it has become a tradition for my family to enjoy a skillet at Whispering Canyon Café on the first day of our trip. It’s the perfect way to start our holiday!

    On the subject of Disney Dining at Walt Disney World. Did you know there are over 200 dining locations across the resort? I love the different experiences available, from quick service to character dining.  As you will be visiting at a particularly busy time of year, I recommend setting a reminder on your phone now so you do not miss the start of your 60-day booking window.

    The Disney Dining Plans are a great way to budget for meals during your stay. Miguel, you can add one of the two dining plans via the Disney Vacation Club website by heading to your 'Dashboard,' selecting your reservation, and then clicking on ‘Purchase Dining Plan.’ Keep in mind, the dining plan must be purchased for all Guests on the reservation and for the full length of your stay.

    Some great news! Did you know that in 2026, Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel will receive a free dining plan for children aged 3 to 9 when purchasing a dining plan for the rest of their party (ages 10 and up). The best bit? Disney Vacation Club Members booking with Vacation Points are included, too.
