Hi, Stephanie!
I’m thrilled to hear that you’re planning a visit to
Walt Disney World this winter! The holiday season is my absolute favorite time to visit Disney Parks. There’s nothing like exploring “The Most Magical Place on Earth” when it’s also the merriest place on earth!
I do recommend attending
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party with your toddler. I went this past December and really enjoyed the special festivities that are exclusive to party evenings, like Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade, Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season music and fireworks show, free cookies and hot chocolate, and snowfall on Main Street, U.S.A.! The official hours of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party are usually 7:00 p.m. to midnight, but Guests attending the party are admitted to the park as early as 4:00 p.m. Although you may enter early, the special events do not begin until the party’s start time. Ticket sales for the party typically begin in the spring, so be sure to check the website for information about dates and tickets soon. It will be festive holiday fun for you and your toddler!
You may also want to make time to visit the resort hotels to take in the gorgeous holiday decorations! I like to visit the three resort hotels on the Monorail line—Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Resort and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is my favorite because it is home to an amazing Victorian gingerbread house.
Please let me know if you have any other questions as you plan your pixie-dusted holiday vacation, Stephanie!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
