We are gonna stay at the Paradise Pier. We are thinking about taking the monorail some days. We will have two strollers, do you think taking the strollers on the monorail will be too much of a hassle?

Hey there, Becky! Welcome to planDisney. Disneyland Resort during the holidays is full of magic and getting to stay at one of the Disneyland Resort Hotels just adds to it!

The monorail is a great option to head into Disneyland Park from Paradise Pier Hotel. I will let you know that they do ask you to fold the strollers up prior to boarding the Monorail. This could be a hassle depending on your party and stroller type. The benefit though is that you will get to avoid the possible crowds at the Disneyland Park entrance gates and be dropped off in Tomorrowland at Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, which just reopened very recently. This puts you right on a short path to Fantasyland, which is a favorite area for lots of attractions perfect for all ages. This could also be a good option to exit Disneyland Park when you have tired legs at the end of the night.

I wanted to make sure you knew that for your Disney California Adventure Park days, Paradise Pier Hotel just opened a private entrance for hotel Guests. This entrance gives you a short walk towards the back of the park where you will enter near Corn Dog Castle and Seaside Souvenirs. This means during your holiday visit you will enter right into all of the fun and celebration of Disney Viva Navidad! and Disney Festival of the Holidays.

Becky, thanks for stopping by! Please come back and see us again with all your planning questions.

While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
