Well hello there Alberto and welcome to planDisney!

Oh boy, it is so wonderful that you're choosing to make it a special Magic Kingdom Park birthday for your grandson, with an extra-special visit with Mickey Mouse himself! My young niece met Mickey and Minnie for the first time at our Disney Fairy Tale Wedding this year, and we made sure to take many pictures so that she'll be able to look back at them and hopefully remember one day.

You'll be happy to hear that it's actually quite easy to make this happen as soon as you enter Magic Kingdom Park, by taking advantage of the opportunity to Meet Mickey at Town Square Theater. From my personal experience I know that it can be very challenging for young children (especially when they're still infants) to wait in long standby queues for attractions and entertainment, so I very highly recommend that you make your grandson's special birthday moment a priority and visit Mickey as soon as you enter into Main Street, U.S.A. as Mickey is scheduled to be available as early as 9:00 a.m. EST on May 13, 2023. Going early in the day while other fellow park guests are swiftly heading to rides and attractions will allow you to experience a shorter wait that grows longer over time; you can keep track of this using your My Disney Experience App to observe the current Wait Time throughout the day.

If you'd like other opportunities to meet Mickey Mouse during your visit at perhaps a different Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park, he has been known to make appearances at the Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival at EPCOT, The Adventurer's Outpost at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park or even while dressed in his outfit from Fantasia at Red Carpet Dreams in Disney's Hollywood Studios. Some families like meeting their famous Disney friends while enjoying a kid-friendly Character Dining experience together to celebrate special occasions like birthdays, and taking the family to Chef Mickey's may be a great way to do so outside of the Theme Parks!

Either way, I definitely recommend asking a friendly Cast Member for a complimentary Birthday celebration button that you may also be able to request at Guest Relations. Please don't hesitate to come back to planDisney to ask me any more questions ahead of your next Disney adventure!

Wishing your grandson a very swell Happy Birthday, be sure to say hello to Mickey for me!
