    What is gold member card? Any idea when world of color will open? Is there any special event for 90th anniversary?

    Thanks for bringing your great questions to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I love that you are so enthusiastically researching for your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth.

    It sounds like you are asking about a D23 Gold Membership card. D23 is the Official Disney Fan Club which you can be a part of under various membership levels. As a Gold or Gold Family Member, you will get a membership card as well as access to special publications, member events, membership discounts, and exclusive member content. A D23 Gold Membership also lets you have discounted tickets and exclusive seating for presentations at the famous D23 Expo: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event happening August 23-25, 2019.

    Unfortunately we still do not have an exact date when World of Color is returning at Disney California Adventure Park, but in the meantime I would keep checking the Disney Parks Blog for announcements as well as the Daily Events Schedule online to see when this appears back on the entertainment schedule.

    I'm happy you already are excited for Mickey Mouse's big 90th birthday happening November 18, 2018. While specific details haven't been released just yet, I'm sure there will be plenty of ways to celebrate this occasion at the Disneyland Resort. Last year for his 89th birthday there were free birthday buttons distributed, special PhotoPass photo props, a birthday cavalcade, and even Happy Birthday Mickey merchandise. I would expect to see announcements on the Disney Parks Blog as we approach this exciting day with more details.
