goint to the not-so-scary halloweem with my 5 yr. old and my 11 month old, is it worth it to use a ticket going to the magic kingdom or can we going on most rides during n.s.s.h.p.?

Hi Christina!  When you have the ticket for the special event parties such as Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party you will be allowed into the park as early as 4:00pm.  Although the actual party events do not start until 7:00pm you can use that time to eat and enjoy a few rides before the park closes to the normal day guests.  Not all of the attractions will be open the night of the party such as Mickey's Toon Town Square so that is the direction you might need to go during the pre party hours.  Most of Fantasyland is operating during the event which is certainly a place for your children!

It is hard to say if you should just see the Magic Kingdom on this one night only as most families find that they are drawn back several times during their stay.  I would try going early and doing as much as you can while the kids are awake and have energy and then make a decision later if you feel you need to return on a different day to continue with the magic!
