Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jessica! I'm so glad that I can answer this question for you right before you head off to
Disney's Animal Kingdom tomorrow. It's my absolute favorite Theme Park at Walt Disney World Resort so I know you're going to have a great time discovering the magic of the natural world while you're there.
Disney's Animal Kingdom has a dedicated
parking lot for guests who are visiting that day. If you type the Theme Park's name into your phone's GPS system it will take you directly to the gate where you can pay for parking and be guided to a spot. Once you're on Walt Disney World Resort property, there will also be road signs pointing you in the right direction so be sure to follow those signs as well. Here's something I learned from experience so you don't have to: take some pictures so you remember your parking spot! You'll be parked in a numbered row under a sign with a picture of an animal on it, so take pictures of both of those things so you can find your car easily at the end of the day. Once you're safely parked and ready to go, you can either walk to the entrance gate or use the tram service that's available there for you.
To answer the second part of your question, each Theme Park does have its own parking lot.
EPCOT and
Disney's Hollywood Studios have parking lots out front, just like Disney's Animal Kingdom, and
Magic Kingdom Park has a parking lot at the Transportation and Ticket Center. If you park there, you can take a
ferry boat or
monorail ride to Magic Kingdom Park, and you can catch the monorail to EPCOT from there as well! It's a great place to park your car if you're going to be hopping back and forth between a few Theme Parks in one day.
I hope this answers your questions, Jessica, and have a wild time at Disney's Animal Kingdom tomorrow!
Jessica
