Now that GofG cosmic Rewind is open for early entry, does that mean there is a standby wait opening at 8:30 for those guests? What does that mean in practice.

    Hiya Rachel!

Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your out-of-this-world question about Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. This attraction is one of my absolute favorites—I still get so excited when I hear September come on. It turns the whole ride into an epic intergalactic dance party! And how fun is it that the soundtrack changes your entire experience every time? Such a fantastic way to save the galaxy!

Now let’s blast off into your question. You’ll be happy to hear that Guardians of the Galaxy now offers a standby queue! This means you can hop in line without needing a virtual queue. Even better, if you're staying at a Disney Resort, you can take advantage of Early Entry, which gives you a 30-minute head start before the official park opening. I highly recommend arriving early—lines are typically much shorter first thing in the morning, and you might just save the galaxy before breakfast!

Another great option is purchasing an Individual Lightning Lane entry for Guardians of the Galaxy. If you're staying at a Disney Resort, you can book that Lightning Lane beginning 7 days in advance. It's a great way to skip the standby wait and save time for more adventures, like helping Remy cook in EPCOT or soaring over the world.

Rachel, I hope this helps you prepare for your upcoming mission. If you have any more questions, feel free to visit us again!

    See ya real soon,
