My goal as a Mom is to pass on the love of running and taking care of yourself to my daughter. She's 4 & LOVES Disney. Since the "runDisney Kids Race" is a short distance, I thought it would be fun to do together. Can you tell me more about t

    Hi Julie!

You are such a good mom!  I don't have daughters, but I think that fitness and a healthy attitude about your body would be one of my top priorities for a girl.  RunDisney is the perfect place to introduce your daughter to running as a sport, but also as fun!

There are runDisney kids races every race weekend.  You can find a schedule of races on the runDisney website.  Your daughter would be in the 200 meter dash category (ages 4-6), and any child under 13 (who can run) can take part in the Mickey Mile.  (parents are able to run along with the kids in all races)

The Kids Races are so much fun!  There will be a DJ playing some lively music for a "warm-up" and all of the races are very laid back.

Here is an informational video I made about the Kids Races and 5K events.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
