I'm so glad you've found your way to planDisney. If you ask me, one of the coolest things about Disney Vacation Club Membership is that we have the flexibility to use Vacation Points in whatever way works best for our family. While some years that might mean
a week-long stay at The Most Magical Place on Earth, it might also mean setting sail on with
Disney Cruise Line, exploring the world with
Adventures By Disney, or even using your Points to experience magic a little closer to home through
the World Collection. Let me share a little bit about using your Vacation Points for non-Disney destinations to help you plan the perfect vacation next year.
Last year, Disney Vacation Club announced an exciting new partnership with Interval International that allows Members to use their Points at thousands of properties across the globe with the all-new World Collection. Similar to the RCI exchanges of the past, you can
convert your Vacation Points to Reservation Points by contacting
Member Services at (800) 800-9800, and once that's been done, you should be able to book your stay directly through the Interval International booking portal, located on the DVC website. And if you'd like to take a peek at the locations and options that are available to you before you convert your Points, you can also do that in this area, as well. Simply head to the DVC website, hover over the "Destinations" tab, and select "Vacation Exchange" from the drop-down menu. On the next page, click the blue "Book with Interval Online" button, which will redirect you to the DVC site for Interval International. From there, you'll be able to search your options for exchanges, short stays, hotels, and more.
