Hello Bryony! Welcome to planDisney!
Boy, I wish I was also headed to
Walt Disney World Resort in just three weeks! I was actually there not even a month ago but I would love to already be heading back! When I was visiting in May I had the chance to try out the new attraction
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind with my friends and fellow panelists. Let me tell you, this is one you're NOT going to want to miss! Whether you choose to try your luck with the Virtual Queue or decide to purchase an
Individual Lightning Lane, I highly suggest making riding this attraction a priority. The ride itself is hard to explain, even after riding many times, but I promise you'll be dancing during it and laughing after!
Staying in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, especially a
Deluxe Villa, is a practically perfect way to feel surrounded by Disney magic even when you're not right inside the Theme Parks. Because Disney Resorts are so close to the action of the Parks it is definitely possible (and for my family, necessary!) to take a break back at the Resort during the day and then head back into the Parks at night.
We love getting up early for "rope drop" which means arriving even before the Park officially opens. When the weather gets to be a bit steamy or the Parks become a little crowded we head back for a nap, a swim and a snack (like a delicious DOLE Whip from Disney's Polynesian Village Resort) before returning to the Parks for dinner, dessert and fireworks! I love spending an evening strolling
EPCOT after watching
Harmonious.
As long as you have a
Theme Park Reservation for your first Park of the day you're welcome to come and go as you please. You might even think of booking a delicious meal at a Resort nearby the Theme Park that you're visiting so that you can rest and recharge over lunch or dinner if you don't want to head back to your Resort.
The options are endless when you're visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth! Come back and see us again if you have any other questions!
