We would like to go to WDW & just tour the resorts, not go to the parks this time. Is there anywhere other than the France pavillion in Epcot that I can get glace?

    Hello, Jackie,

My husband and I have often talked about how we could easily visit Walt Disney World and have a grand time just exploring the resorts, so I'm thrilled to hear you are doing that exact same trip!  While I don't know if there is an exact match to what you will find at L’Artisan des Glaces, there are some close options outside of the theme parks. Immediately, I thought of one of the newer additions to Downtown Disney: Vivoli il Gelateria. We were just there this summer, and we sampled several flavors of both gelato and sorbetto.  It is now officially on our list of must-dos when we return as they were all amazing.  And of course, Downtown Disney still has Häagen-Dazs® and Ghirardelli® Ice Cream for traditional ice cream treats. Similarly, Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney's Beach Club is a long-standing favorite with Disney guests.  Have you tried the Kitchen Sink yet? The Fountain at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel has a dessert menu that features both soft-serve or homemade ice cream. And finally, Lickety Split at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort also has gelato and sorbetto as part of their dessert menu.

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that one of these restaurants will offer you something similar to your favorites at L’Artisan des Glaces!  -Kara
