We want to go to WDW next year some time in October. Which is the best week with the least amount of people going? When will the dates be realeased for Mickey's Hawolleen party? Thanks

    Hi there, Susan!

October is such a great time of the year to visit the Walt Disney World Resort! I really love the mild temperatures and fall feeling in the air. I have visited during just about every week in October over the years and the crowds tend to pretty reasonable, in my opinion. My favorite time to go is toward the end of the month because if you time your visit just right, you can attend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party AND Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party during the same visit! The transformation of Magic Kingdom Park happens overnight and is really something to see! For the last several years, Party tickets have gone on sale around the 1st of May. Keep an eye out on the Disney Parks Blog in early Spring for announcements of the Party dates.

The Epcot® International Food & Wine Festival Presented by Chase® is a great chance to experience tastes from around the world! This Special Event tends to make Epcot® pretty busy during the month of October, but not as busy as it usually is during the holidays and around New Year's Eve.

I sure hope this helps with your planning, Susan! Please let us know if we can help with any other questions you have as you plan your vacation to The Place Where Dreams Come True!

    Have a Pixie Dusted day!
