How do I go about using the Disney memory maker photo option when we are not staying on Disney property therefore, do not have magic bands? I did receive our Disney tickets, do I use those to link us to our photos at the parks, Downtown Disney, and dining?

    Hi Dana,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It's my opinion that Memory Maker is one of the best investments you can make on a Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

I am happy to let you know that you don't need to have a MagicBand to enjoy the benefits of Disney Memory Maker.

When you make your purchase online or in person, you will receive a Memory Maker card, much like your park tickets, that each PhotoPass photographer will scan when they take your photo. Make sure your card is linked to your My Disney Experience account and you'll be all set.

I recommend ordering Memory Maker in advance if at all possible for the most savings. Just make sure you have enough time to receive your card in advance of your arrival date.

Please let us know if you have any other questions as you plan your magical trip. Wishing you many happy memories during your visit.

    Happy planning!
