Hello James!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney and asking a great question! It sounds like you are planning some exciting days at Walt Disney World in the theme parks and
water parks!
If you purchase the Park Hopper Plus Option on your Walt Disney World tickets, you can have a certain number of visits to a Water Park or other Walt Disney World fun. At Walt Disney World, a water park is not considered a theme park but an extra option that can be used on a separate day or the same day as a visit to a theme park. In your case, you will need to make a
theme park reservation for
Epcot even if it is later that day, because Epcot will be your first park of the day that you are entering.
You do not need to make a theme park reservation for a water park, but you currently need to make a theme park reservation for each of your theme park days. So you can start your day at a water park and then go to the theme park you have your theme park reservation for in the afternoon. Also, after you have been to your first park of the day, and after 2:00 pm, you can park hop to another park.
I hope that your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation is incredible!
