Hiya Michael - welcome to
planDisney!
We're so glad you stopped by with your question about
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park! In addition to boasting North America's largest wave pool, this battered but not broken tropical paradise is a great place to enjoy the Florida sunshine with your crew. For an extra magical day, consider reserving a
Beachcomber Shack - you'll have a private shaded area with comfortable seating, water, towels, and even an attendant to bring you food and beverage orders from around the park!
You are more than welcome to visit Typhoon Lagoon in your normal clothing, as long as what you're wearing meets the
normal guidelines for all Walt Disney World Resort locations. If you do decide to dip your toes in, please know that certain attractions at Typhoon Lagoon
do require specific attire, so if there's a chance you might want to get in on the action you might want to bring swimwear to change into!
Even if you do not plan to enjoy any of the water attractions, you will still need a valid admission ticket to enter Typhoon Lagoon. This can be purchased independently, or you can obtain admission by adding the Park Hopper Plus Option or Water Parks and Sports Option to your existing
Theme Park Tickets. This can be done at a
Guest Relations location in any Theme Park or Disney Springs, or at the ticket booth at the entrance to Typhoon Lagoon. You can also call and speak to a Cast Member in advance - if you have existing tickets you'll call 407-934-7639, and for new tickets, it's easiest to simply purchase them online.
I hope this helps you plan for your family's magical vacation!
