Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Dan! Thanks so much for stopping by with your question.
Dan, I am so happy to chat with you about two of my very favorite restaurants,
California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort and
Topolino's Terrace- Flavors of the Riviera at Disney's Riviera Resort! You have made two excellent choices. My mouth is watering just thinking about the delectable bites at these places.
In terms of wardrobe, since both California Grill and Topolino's Terrace- Flavors of the Riviera are considered
Signature Dining experiences, there is a dress code that prohibits items such as hats, cut-off shorts and flip-flops, but what you described above sounds
perfect! My husband wore something very similar, with a collared, button-down shirt and was on par compared to all of the other diners.
Dan, I hope this helps as you are thinking ahead to your November vacation. Make sure for both reservations to allow adequate time to enjoy your experience as you may want to linger over dessert. Furthermore, on the day you'll be visiting Disney's Contemporary Resort, it may be helpful to know that if you have a reservation prior to the
Happily Ever After fireworks show you can
save your receipt and return to California Grill to enjoy the show from the outside observation area.
Another tip to extend your evening at Topolino's Terrace- Flavors of the Riviera is to take a nighttime ride on the
Disney Skyliner before or after your meal. With the gorgeous aerial views, this mode of transportation doubles as an attraction!
Best wishes, Dan, for two Magical evenings worthy of Cinderella herself.
