If I go to a table service restaurant with my family, (husband and two children and I) but I don't want to eat, will a table service credit still be taken off of our dining plan since I made a reservation for four? Am I allowed to just attend and not eat?

Hi Carey! I think the Disney Dining Plan is a great value and so convenient when you're on vacation at Walt Disney World. With so many great food choices you can get filled up pretty quickly, which is exactly what happened to me when we stayed at Disney's Wilderness Lodge last November. I was still full from lunch so when it came time for our dinner reservation at Artist Point I went with my family but I didn't eat anything. I informed our waiter and he reassured me everything was fine. Your entitlements are only redeemed when you use them. The only exception is special character dining experiences like Cinderella's Royal Table.

Remember, ALL your entitlements expire at 11:59 pm the night you check-out of your resort, so be sure to use them all. I was able to redeem the dinner meal entitlement I didn't use that night as a to-go meal boxed up, but this option is at the discretion of the specific restaurant so be sure to ask.

Let us know if you have any other questions as you plan your magical trip to Walt Disney World!
