Hi Lorie! Welcome to planDisney!
It sounds like you've got the biggest part of your planning under control for your upcoming vacation to
Walt Disney World Resort! Just don't forget a fairly new and definitely important part of the planning process: making Theme Park Reservations! Now, all Guests of Walt Disney World Resort who are over three years of age need both a valid
Theme Park Ticket as well as a
Theme Park Reservation to enter their first Park of the day. This week, since it is Spring Break for a lot of folks, Theme Park Reservations are full for some Parks. While you may not run into the same issues in August, if you already have your Theme Park Tickets you're welcome to plan your days and book your Theme Park Reservations now too!
After you have that taken care of it's a little bit of a waiting game until it's time to start booking those
Advance Dining Reservations! Guests of the Walt Disney World Resort are able to start booking their Advance Dining Reservations, tours, and extras from the
Enchanting Extras Collection at the 60-day mark before their check-in date. If you're staying onsite at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel you can book on that date for your entire stay (as long as it is less than 10 days). This means that you should be able to start booking in mid-June if your arrival date is the one you entered on the planDisney site!
Now, if you're hoping to make plans to see some of your favorite character pals,
Character Dining Experiences are a great way to get up close and personal, especially now that hugs and autographs are coming back in just a few days! Beyond dining, you can find your favorite characters sprinkled all around the four Theme Parks. If you want to reserve a "
Lightning Lane" through the new
Disney Genie+ Service so that you're able to visit your favorite characters without waiting in line, you can do that too! Just purchase Disney Genie+ as an add-on to your vacation package or choose to purchase it daily anytime after midnight on the day you want to use it. You'll be able to start choosing return times for rides, attractions and characters at 7 a.m. the day of your Park visit.
I hope you have a magical time, and come back and see us again if you have any other questions!
