Hello there, Linda!
Welcome back to planDisney. We're so glad you've returned with another wonderful
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question! It appears that you may have arrived on-site today to begin your enchanting escape at The Most Magical Place on Earth. I hope your holiday is off to an incredible start, and I'm happy to help you continue the magic into the remainder of your stay!
Linda, I'm very happy to inform you that the
Disney Skyliner is accessible for Guests utilizing mobility devices like ECVs and wheelchairs. If you've rented a mobility scooter from a third-party vendor (like Scooterbug), you'll have no trouble exiting the theme park with your scooter and accessing the Disney Skyliner. However, if you've rented a wheelchair or
ECV directly from a Walt Disney World Resort theme park, then the mobility device will need to be left at the theme park. However, if this is the case, be sure to hang on to your receipt because you'll be able to pick up another mobility scooter at the next theme park you arrive at!
My family recently enjoyed a trip aboard the Disney Skyliner to visit
Disney's Riviera Resort for a mid-day break. We popped into
Primo Piatto for a quick afternoon sweet treat and were then pleasantly surprised to find some familiar Disney Character friends wandering around on the lawn in the courtyard of the resort! No matter where the Disney Skyliner takes you, I hope your trip is filled with that same wonder and enchantment.
Linda, I hope this information helps you to feel prepared for your upcoming journey aboard the Walt Disney World Resort transportation system, and I wish you a magical and memorable holiday. If you have any additional questions throughout your stay, you're always welcome to revisit us here at
planDisney. We're all ears!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
