Hello, Christine,
Thank you for sending your question to planDisney. I'm so happy to read you are planning a holiday Walt Disney World trip this year. It is so lovely to visit then with all of the festive decorations sprinkled throughout the theme parks and resorts. It is incredibly magical!
Sanaa is a hidden gem at Walt Disney World. With its theming and ground-level views of the animals on the savannah, it is a wonderful experience. And did I mention the food? The bread service alone is worth making it a priority dining spot on a Walt Disney World vacation. The restaurant is currently available for both lunch and dinner reservations. Because of this, I would plan that you'll be able to dine there for Christmas dinner. Just make sure to secure your
dining reservations when you are 60 days out from your arrival since you are staying at a Disney Resort.
To return to
Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside from
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village, the easiest thing to do is to take a bus to Disney's Animal Kingdom and then transfer to your resort's bus. However, if the Animal Kingdom has closed and transportation is no longer running, you can take a bus from the resort that is going to either EPCOT or Disney's Hollywood Studios and then transfer to your resort's bus. You could also utilize a ride-sharing service like Lyft/Uber or a taxi cab. If you'd like to add some extra fun and charm to the day, a
Minnie Van™ may be ideal. It is a special van complete with red and white polka dots operated through Lyft. The latter options would bring you directly from one resort to the other.
Wishing you a magical trip! Please let us know if you have any further questions.
