Hi, when you go on rides, what do you do with your backpack?

Greetings, Angela! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking your question.

Whenever I travel to the parks, I usually have so much stuff with me. I just have to be prepared for every occasion – extra clothes for when we get soaked on Splash Mountain, wipes for my daughter’s sticky fingers after eating a caramel apple, extra sunscreen, water bottles, and the list goes on. But one of the great things about the Disneyland Resort is that you can easily take your belongings with you on attractions. We just place our backpack at our feet and on some roller coasters we put our hats and sunglasses in the little pouch provided in the ride vehicle. It’s as easy as that!

If you would prefer not to carry your stuff around all day, there are plenty of lockers available to rent in both parks and the esplanade. They come in a variety of sizes to store all your items. The only attraction that I suggest you do not take your backpack on is Grizzly River Run because you and your stuff will get soaked! There are lockers conveniently located right by the attraction that are free for the first two hours.

I hope this information was helpful. Have a wonderful time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
