    Hello! How can I go about requesting a room near the lobby at animal kingdom kidani village? Also, we were planning on going directly to the parks when we arrive. How do we ensure we get our room and magic bands work?

    You are definitely in for a treat with an upcoming stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village. This uniquely themed Resort will leave you feeling like you have stepped into a luxurious African safari lodge, with plenty of exotic animals roaming the savannas surrounding the Resort.

    Matt, if your reservation was booked using Disney Vacation Club points, the Disney Vacation Club member who made the reservation can call Member Services at (800) 800-9800 to have your request for a room in close proximity to the lobby noted on your reservation. While room requests cannot be guaranteed, in my experience, Disney Cast Members handling room assignments at each Resort do their very best to accommodate your wishes, subject to availability restrictions.

    If your reservation was booked directly with Disney Resort Hotel Reservations, you can contact them at (407) 939-1936 to add room location requests to your reservation.

    Alternatively, you may wish to fax your room request directly to the Resort at (407) 938-4799 approximately five days before check-in. Be sure to include your full name, check in date and Resort confirmation number on your room request.

    Matt, if you are wishing to travel directly to a Walt Disney World Theme Park upon arrival, without first checking into your Resort hotel, that is definitely doable! You will want to ensure that your Theme Park tickets are linked to your My Disney Experience account. I also recommend that you complete Online Check-in, which will then allow you to receive a text message with your Resort hotel room number once your room is ready. Should you have any difficulty with your MagicBands upon arrival, a Guest Relations Cast Member will be able to assist.
