how do i go about purchasing a dining plan? i am not staying at a disney resort either, will this be a problem? also i have magic bands from my last visit when i did stay on property. when i looked it still said ACTIVE can i still use them?

    Hi Melissa,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  How exciting that you are planning another visit to Walt Disney World Resort, I'm sure you are going to have a fantastic time!

In order to purchase the Disney Dining Plan, you must be staying onsite at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. It is one of the many benefits of staying on property.  The Disney Dining Plan can be added to Resort Reservations as part of a package, if Theme Park Tickets are purchased as well.

You should be able to reuse your MagicBands for your upcoming vacation, simply go to My Disney Experience and link your ticket to your existing MagicBand under the MagicBands and Cards tab.  My daughter has a favourite MagicBand that she brings every trip, and we have always been able to link her tickets to that specific MagicBand.

Please let us know if you have any other questions, Melissa.  We are always happy to help.
