Hi Sam,
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. I’m happy to hear that you are considering a trip to the happiest place on Earth! I’m sure you are going to have a magical time.
As a Canadian resident, you can purchase tickets on the
Disneyland website. Currently, you can buy general park tickets as far out as September. Tickets are available for purchase about 180 days in advance. There is currently a
ticket deal for Canadian residents. Canadian residents can visit one park per day and can choose from 5-, 4-, or 3-day tickets. You can also upgrade these tickets to a Park Hopper to allow you to visit both Disneyland and California Adventure throughout the day. This deal runs from May 16 through December 31, 2025. When you purchase these tickets, you will then need to make park reservations for the date you intend to visit. When I take a look at the reservation calendar, there seem to be lots of available Fridays to visit. Make sure that when you are purchasing these tickets, your Canadian address is linked to your MyDisney account so that you can complete the purchase. Then be sure to have your government-issued photo ID (with your Canadian address) with you when you enter the park. A Cast Member will need to validate your ID before you enter the park for the first time.
I hope this information is helpful, Sam. There are a lot of great
events happening in 2025, so check out the
Disney Parks Blog for all the latest information. If I misunderstood your question, please
reach out to me with more details so I can get it right. If you have any other questions or need help planning, feel free to reach out to me or one of my fellow panelists. We’d be happy to share our thoughts.
Happy planning!
