Hey Howdy Hey Chundilya and welcome to planDisney!
I am sorry to hear you might be having some issues planning your upcoming trip. You did the right thing by stopping by planDisney as your new-found 'Ohana will be able to help you through this process.
With 4 Theme Parks,
2 Water Parks, and
Special Event Tickets during certain times of the year, this process can be a little overwhelming I would agree. If you are looking for
Standard Theme Park Tickets, you will be able to find them online through the Walt Disney World Resort website. Once logged into your My Disney Experience account, you should then be prompted on how many days you wanted to purchase your tickets. The next step gets a little tricky for your Ticket Type.
With your Ticket Type, you will have several options. One is just the standard 1 park per day. the next is Water Park and Sports Option which will give you access to the water parks and ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex as well as golf courses. The
Park Hopper Option will allow you to visit multiple theme parks per day. After you spend some time at your first park selection in the morning, starting at 2 PM EST you will have the option to hop to another theme park for the evening pending availability. Your last option is the Park Hopper Plus Option which gives you the maximum access to everything. If this is your first time in Walt Disney World Resort I would highly recommend the standard 1 park per day as there is so much to see and experience in each park.
After you select which ticket option works best for you, you should be given a calendar next to purchase the tickets and the day you want to start using them. Tickets are priced differently per day of the week and by season so you should see the pricing of the ticket listed for the day you wanted to start.
Once you select your day to start, you will then purchase the number of tickets, either Adults 10+ years old or children 3-9 years old. Children under age 3 are free and do not need tickets!
The final step after making your purchase is to make your
Theme Park Reservations. These are required to enter a theme park but don't worry, there is no charge for them. These just allow Disney to better prepare for the demand of the day. You would need to make your reservations for each day you plan on attending the parks and specific to which park you plan to visit.
I know there are a lot of steps and things to consider but one other option you have is reaching out to a travel agent. If you do an internet search for "Authorized Disney Vacation Planner" you will get a list of agencies authorized by Disney to plan your trips. You might also see special recognitions and "Ear Marks" they will show off which is further recognition from Disney they are very experienced in helping Guests book trips. These agents will be able to help you through the process of purchasing tickets and making your reservations and the best part is their assistance is free!
I hope this helped lay out the steps of ticket purchases and other options if you needed them. Please feel free to reach back out to us with any questions, we would be happy to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Nick
