    Are go pro sticks allowed?

Howdy, Karla! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

My husband is the designated videographer for our Disneyland Resort trips and he has tried various tools and cameras to help him get the best footage. During our last visit to the parks, he brought along a handheld device that attached to his phone. At each security checkpoint, he needed to show that the short handle did not extend and it was simply a method for stabilizing his phone/camera and not a selfie stick. There are strict rules against selfie sticks or any type of photography pole that extends. So, if the tool that you have for your GoPro extends in any way, it should be left at home.

Keep in mind that there are lots of Disney PhotoPass photographers stationed throughout both parks that will help you get the best shots of the whole family. They will take high resolution photographs and can sometimes even incorporate Magic Shots into the mix. You can then link these photos to your Disneyland account by having the photographer scan the PhotoPass code in your Disneyland app or by manually linking the PhotoPass card(s) they provide to you.

I hope this helps clarify things for you. Have a splendid time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
