Can I use my go pro on the rides?

    Hi Debbie!

Thanks for your question. I love taking hundreds of photos, trying to capture as many perfect Disney moments that I possibly can each time I visit.

The GoPro camera in and of itself isn't specifically prohibited, particularly if it's somehow strapped to your body and not dangling, swinging around, or hanging high above some type of cap or hat. Disney wants to ensure safety on all attractions not only for you, but for other Disney guests as well as the Cast Members operating the attractions as well. That being said, they reserve the right to ask you to remove the GoPro on any attraction they deem having the GoPro on your person unsafe. I also should note that there are some attractions where photography is expressly prohibited, so bear this in mind when considering getting on certain attractions.

An alternative is always to get the Disney Memory Maker PhotoPass package. This may have the advantage of capturing those perfect camera angles the GoPro won't have the luxury in getting, and give you peace of mind in saving those moments that will last a lifetime.

    Have a magical day!
