Can you go to Port Orleans for beingets if you do not have a resort reservation there?

    Hi Kevin,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with a planning question about Resort dining. There are so many different themed Disney Resort hotels at Walt Disney World Resort, it's so hard to choose how and when to visit my favorites! Let's take a look.

I'm happy to share that Guests can visit Disney Resort hotels even if they do not have a reservation. All Guests are welcome to enjoy dining locations, including Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter's Scat Cat's Café, home to the delicious Mickey-shaped beignets.

When visiting resorts, the important thing to keep in mind is the parking. When driving to a resort, security at the gate may ask for a confirmed dining or resort reservation so the easiest way to explore resorts is by using complimentary Disney Transportation. Depending on where you are traveling from, you could hop aboard a boat (from Disney Springs) and float down the Sassagoula River (it's one of my family's favourite ways to travel to Port Orleans - French Quarter or Port Orleans - Riverside.

I hope this helps with your vacation planning, Kevin. If you have any other questions, feel free to stop by planDisney again!

Enjoy every powdered-sugar-covered bite of the beignets!
