    Can you go to Port Orleans for beingets if you do not have a resort reservation there?

    Kayla, it is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that I welcome a fellow Georgian to planDisney. Thank you for asking this delicious question.

    A visit to Disney's Port Orleans Resort- French Quarter is like walking down memory lane from my childhood visiting New Orleans where I had my first beignet. I can still smell the powdery goodness from that experience.

    You do not need a Resort reservation to grab a few beignets from Scat Cat's Club Café in Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. When you arrive at the security gate just let the guard know you are headed to Scat Cat's Club - Café to dine. They will ask for your driver's license and welcome you to the Resort. Just jazz walk or maybe even Charleston your way into the cafe and order up beignets in a variety of concoctions. A standard order comes with 3 or 6 Mickey-shaped powder sugar-covered beignets with 1 dipping sauce. If you want to adultify your order go for the Baton Rouge beignets or if you really want to jazz it up get the Mickey-shaped Beignets Sundae. Yum!

    Jedi Master Tip: After you finish dining take time to explore Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. Your feet will tell you the story of old New Orleans as you meander along Jazz Alley laid out in bricks.
