Hi Betty!
So happy to have you onboard here at planDisney! What do you get when you combine a Walt Disney World trip with a Disney cruise? Why, a
land and sea vacation! It truly is the best of both worlds, combining theme park fun and exotic destinations in a single vacation!
You certainly can make your life easier in the reservations department by arranging a land and sea vacation with Disney Cruise Line. Call a
Disney Cruise Line Vacation Planning Specialist, and they will assist you with both components. Just tell them you would like to have a land and sea adventure, and they will take care of the rest!
My presumption is that you are probably aiming for one of the 3 or 4 night cruises from
Port Canaveral. I’m not sure about the desired dates of your potential vacation, but you can go ahead and check the dates that work for you using the
Disney Cruise Line website, including your desired stateroom(s), and what you'd like to do while at sea and in those amazing ports. My favorite port on those itineraries is
Castaway Cay, which has some phenomenal excursions and plenty of activities for the whole family.
I have a planDisney tip for you: if you can, book your Walt Disney World portion first and the Disney cruise second. I much prefer the theme parks at the beginning of the vacation so that once the cruise begins, we can be as active or as chill as we like.
Be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app and the My Disney Experience app. They are the best tools for staying on top of all the details of your land and sea vacation. For the seafaring part of your trip, the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app will show all the activities and entertainment onboard, dinner menus, deck parties, showtimes, and much more. Meanwhile, with the
My Disney Experience app for the Most Magical Place on Earth, it organizes all your reservations, places
mobile food orders, and much more!
As you continue to make your land and sea vacation plans, please remember we are here to help every step of the way! Betty, wishing you a DREAM vacation from start to finish!
Happy Sailing!
Sherry
