Welcome back to planDisney, Diana!
As much as I love chowing down on the yummy food at the Disney Parks (and beyond!), sometimes I like to pack my own goodies for my family. The spots to picnic, so to speak, at
Disney Springs aren’t as obvious as they are at the theme parks, so I’m more than happy to share some suggestions with you.
One of my favorite areas at Disney Springs is the West Side’s
Food Trucks. There you’ll find many tables and chairs near the varying food trucks with a nice view of Lake Buena Vista. A plus is that if you go earlier in the day, there could be more spaces to sit because the food trucks usually operate during the evening hours. What’s more? In that same area, you’ll find a long ledge near the waterside behind Starbucks that can be used to set up your food while you relax.
Another not-so-hidden gem is the outdoor seating area outside of Town Center’s
Sprinkles bakery. Although seating areas at most restaurants at Disney Springs are meant for eating the tasty treats that come out of their respective kitchens, I’ve found that this spot near Sprinkles is pretty open for lounging and eating any foods. And the best part is that after eating your packed lunch, you can hop over to this bakery’s “ATM” to order a cupcake to-go! I have dreams about the carrot cake flavored one!
Diana, I hope that your family has a practically perfect vacation! If you have any additional Disney vacation planning questions,
give us a holler here at planDisney. We would love to lend a Mickey hand!
Magic always,
LeAndra
