Hi Shauna! You’re going about your planning in all the right ways! You’re thinking about the specific needs of your family and coming to planDisney for advice! This planning has all the makings of a great Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Guests can visit the same Disney Park as many times as they wish during their vacation, but they are required to have a valid theme park ticket, as well as a
Disney Park Pass reservation for the parks they wish to visit. So, yes, you can visit the same park two days in a row, but you would need to have a ticket for each day and the park reservation.
Shauna, my wife and I say that we “raised” our three boys in the Disney Parks! We’ve had them there at all ages! I completely understand your feeling that it’s hard to squeeze one park into one Disney day when you’ve got little Mouseketeers! I’m not sure exactly how little yours are but I’m happy to share the strategy that we used when our guys were little. We would begin our day relatively early. I recommend arriving at park opening time (or for the
Early Theme Park Entry time if you’re staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel). Stay at the park until 11:00-ish. That is the time that the crowds (and heat) begin to increase. That’s when we would head back to the resort for lunch, a dip in the pool, and an afternoon nap. Later in the day, we would head back to the same park we visited in the morning and remain until the evening. Our little guys handled this schedule fairly well over the years!
Remember, you can enter, exit, and then re-enter the same park, during the same day without paying any additional entry fees! Shauna, I hope this is helpful advice as you continue dreaming of your vacation!
Happy Planning!
