Can you go on to a park before checking into the hotel?

    Hi Lance,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You most certainly may go to one of the four theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort before you check into your hotel. I did exactly that on a recent trip. I took a car service directly from Orlando International Airport to Disney's Hollywood Studios in order to arrive on time for an important event. I was wearing my MagicBand and my theme park tickets were linked to the My Disney Experience account I use. When I arrived at Disney's Hollywood Studios, I touched my MagicBand to the touch point at the entrance of the park and off I went to enjoy my favorite attractions.

Even better, I got a text while I was exploring Disney's Hollywood Studios. My room at Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge was ready. Because I had checked in online prior to my arrival, the text included my room number and I didn't even need to stop at the Front Desk when I reached Disney's Wilderness Lodge. I went directly to my villa and the door opened automatically when I held my MagicBand up against the lock. I really love how Disney uses technology to make the Guest experience so convenient.

So enjoy your time at the theme parks, Lance, and have a magical stay at the Walt Disney World Resort hotel you'll be calling "home" on your upcoming trip.

Sending best wishes and pixie dust,
    Jill
