We want to go to Orlqndo Florida and my daughter wants to go to the park where Stitch is, what is the park and do I have to make a reservation?

    Aloha, Doriz!

Mahalo for stopping by planDisney to track down your daughter's favorite blue extraterrestrial. I'm delighted to tell you that you've come to the right place! I happen to have a soft spot for Experiment 626 myself and don't feel that my Walt Disney World Resort vacations are complete without a hug from Stitch, so let's make that magical moment happen for your 'ohana as well.

Currently, Stitch is regularly making mischief with Guests in two locations: Magic Kingdom Park and  Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. While you will most likely need a dining reservation to see Stitch at the Polynesian, only certain theme park ticket types currently require a reservation to enter a theme park. You can helpfully find the list here. As a rule of thumb: if a ticket is date-based (has a particular date associated with it) no reservation is required.
    • Magic Kingdom Park: I have most recently encountered Stitch hugging Guests, taking photos, and signing autographs in Tomorrowland just past the exit of Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. Please keep in mind that character appearances vary each day, so you'll want to verify the daily schedule in your My Disney Experience app. You can do this by selecting the location icon (second from the left) at the bottom of the screen before tapping the arrow at the top center where you'll choose 'Characters' from the dropdown menu that populates. By selecting 'Show List' you'll be provided with a list of all characters currently scheduled to meet that day. If you select a character's name you'll even see where and when they are expected to meet. You can also filter the list by theme park in the top left corner of the screen.
    • Disney's Polynesian Village Resort: Stitch is a regular host of the Best Friends Breakfast at 'Ohana. The highlight of this all-you-care-to-enjoy breakfast (which even features Stitch waffles)  is a table visit by Pluto, Lilo, Stitch, and Mickey in his Hawaiian finest. This is a very popular dining experience, so reservations are recommended. These become available 60 days out, but if you don't have success securing one when your reservation window opens keep checking periodically to see if someone changes their plans. If all else fails, you can also join the mobile walk-up list as availability allows. Because Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is located on the Resort Monorail, it's super convenient to pop in on days you're planning to visit EPCOT or Magic Kingdom Park.
A bonus tip: As an extraterrestrial with an unknown date of birth, June 26 is recognized as Stitch's special day. If you happen to be in the area on that day, you might find that Experiment 626 has a bit of an extra presence for the occasion.

I hope this was helpful, Doriz, and that your daughter has the best time with Stitch! If you have any additional questions as you plan, don't hesitate to stop back by. I'm always happy to help!
