Hi, i will go to Orlando with my daughter this June for a five-day trip. I am now thinking about how to arrange the trip. Could you give me some suggestions, which fits a six-year-old girl? Which parks are most proper for a girl at her age.thank

Hi Fang, how wonderful for you to be planning a special trip for you and your daughter. I, too, have a six year old little princess. Here are some of my recommendations to make this a truly magical experience for her.

First, I would recommend getting a royal makeover at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at either Magic Kingdom or World of Disney in Downtown Disney. She will be magically transformed into a regal princess right before her eyes. For reservations, call (407) WDW-STYLE (939-7895). Keep in mind that reservations can be booked up to 180 days out, so being so close to your trip, I can't guarantee availability.

Some of my daughter's favorite rides are at Magic Kingdom and Fantasyland is her favorite area. With Cinderella's Castle, Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid, Enchanted Tales with Belle, and Prince Charming Regal Carousel, little girls will be in fairy tale heaven. Be sure to also stop in at Town Square Theater on Main Street, USA in Magic Kingdom to meet and greet many of the Disney Princesses. This is a great way to get some one on one time with them for photos and autographs. You can also find Merida in Fairy Tale Garden. Keep in mind that characters can change without notice, so be sure to look at a times guide upon arrival.

I'm not sure about your daughter, but mine is also a bit of a thrill seeker and will finally be tall enough for rides like Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad on this upcoming trip of ours.

I think she will like all of the parks, as there are tons of attractions and activities to intrigue all ages. That said, my kids tend to find Epcot the least appealing of the four. It's very spread out and there aren't as many rides (although there are still quite a few) or things that peak their interests as in the other parks.

I hope you all have a pixie-dusted vacation with many memories made.
